    Washington State uses a life cycle cost analysis tool for new facilities over 5,000 sq ft or renovations. The Life Cycle Cost Tool allows users to input various assumptions about a building's operations, such as fuel use, and then outputs a report of the building's total costs including the social cost of carbon.
